Because You Have Obeyed

Please join us sharing God’s Word daily.  We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three year.  Gods Not Dead!

“6 And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love.” 2 John 1:6

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading the book of Jeremiah Chapter 35
Verses 1-11 “Jonadab was famous for wisdom and piety. He lived nearly ( Kings. 10:15 ) to drink wine. He also appointed them to dwell in tents, or movable dwelling: this would teach them not to think of settling any where in this world. To keep low, would be the way to continue long in the land where they were strangers. Humility and contentment are always the best policy, and men's surest protection. Also, that they might not run into unlawful pleasures, they were to deny themselves even lawful delights. The consideration that we are strangers and pilgrims should oblige us to abstain from all fleshly lusts...”
Verses 12-19 “The trial of the Rechabites' constancy was for a sign; it made the disobedience of the Jews to God the more marked. The Rechabites were obedient to one who was but a man like themselves, and Jonadab never did for his seed what God has done for his people. Mercy is promised to the Rechabites. We are not told respecting the performance of this promise; but doubtless it was performed, and travellers say the Rechabites may be found a separate people to this day. Let us follow the counsels of our pious forefathers, and we shall find good in so doing.” -  Matthew Henry Concise
18 Then Jeremiah said to the family of the Recabites, "This is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says: 'You have obeyed the command of your forefather Jonadab and have followed all his instructions and have done everything he ordered.' 19 Therefore, this is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says: 'Jonadab son of Recab will never fail to have a man to serve me.' "Jeremiah 35:18-19 English Standard Versions (ESV).  I am reminded here that; the first commandment that comes with a promise (see Ephesians 6:2) is to obey our parents. What our Lord Jesus asks of us is asked in love, (see 1 John 5:3) is to be delivered in love.  “13 Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.“  Colossians 3:13 ESV.  Every good gift comes from (see James 1:17) God our Father in loving mercy.  We are asked to humbly deliver the good news (see Ephesians 4:2) to our neighbors in love.

Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.“  Matthew 7:13-14 ESV.

Comfort for God's People

Today’s Feast

Apr. 7, 2014 – Isaiah 40
Comfort for God's People

Gods Not Dead! Share the Feast in God’s Word; join us sharing God’s Word daily as Easter, Sunday April 20th approaches!

"13 so that he may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all his saints.” 1 Thessalonians 3:13

Isaiah Chapter 40 ,The preaching of the gospel, and glad tidings of the coming of Christ. (1-11) The almighty power of God. (12-17) The folly of idolatry. (18-26) Against unbelief. (27-31)” -  Matthew Henry Concise

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading Isaiah Chapter 40 Here we start with prophesy of (see Luke 3:5) the Messiah to Come. God’s awesome (see Proverbs 30:4) power.  The comfort and power of those who wait on the Lord; 30 Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; 31 but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:30-31  English Standard Versions (ESV).  In the name of Jesus we are able (see Philippians 4:13) to do all things!    I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. Galatians 2:20 ESV.   The Feast is designed for us to spend about 15 minutes a day reading every word in (see Romans 10:17) God’s Word about every three years.  Our faith (see Hebrews 11:1-2) brings us comfort in the name of Jesus.

Can you feel God calling you?  Do you want to feel God’s righteousness?  Do you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the following link; http://www.admenu.com/calling.htm

By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers. 1 John 3:16 ESV.

Let Not Your Mouth Lead You!

Today’s Feast

Feb. 7, 2014 – Ecclesiastes 5
Let Not Your Mouth Lead You!

“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.”  Colossians 3:15

Ecclesiastes Chapter 5, “What renders devotion vain. (1-3) Of vows, and oppression. (4-8) the vanity of riches shown. (9-7) The right use of riches. (18-20)”  -  Matthew Henry Concise

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Ecclesiastes Chapter 5.  When we call on God he knows our hearts, so avoid vain repetitions.  We must examine our hearts before we make a vow.  Whatever task our Lord has assigned to us will be counted as joy when we do it to the glory of God.  “19 Everyone also to whom God has given wealth and possessions and power to enjoy them, and to accept his lot and rejoice in his toil—this is the gift of God. 20 For he will not much remember the days of his life because God keeps him occupied with joy in his heart.“   Ecclesiastes 5:19-20  English Standard Version (ESV).   We have no need to be anxious for anything (See Matthew 6:25) while we are following Jesus.  "O you who love the Lord, hate evil! He preserves the lives of his saints; he delivers them from the hand of the wicked. Psalm 97:10“ -  Psalm 33:4-5  ESV.  We can be secure in our salvation!  Because when we accepted our Lord Jesus as our Savior, we have His Word (see Hebrews 13:5), that He will never leave nor forsake us.

Do you feel like Jesus is calling you?  Do you want Jesus to be your friend?  Do you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the following link; http://www.admenu.com/calling.htm

The Gospel Leads To Jesus, The Love For Others Will Lead To Life

Today’s Feast

Jan. 26, 2014 – Proverbs 28

The Gospel Leads To Jesus, The Love For Others Will Lead To Life

“Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.” Hebrews 11:1

Proverbs 28, Verse 1. “Sin makes men cowards. Whatever difficulties the righteous meet in the way of duty, they are not daunted.” Verse 28. ”When power is put into the hands of the wicked, wise men decline public business. If the reader will go diligently over this and the other chapters, in many places where at first he may suppose there is least of Christ, still he will find what will lead to him.” -  Matthew Henry Concise

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading proverbs Chapter 28.

In today’s Feast the stingy and foolish are compared to the faithful wise.   “25 A greedy man stirs up strife, but the one who trusts in the Lord will be enriched.  26 Whoever trusts in his own mind is a fool, but he who walks in wisdom will be delivered.Proverbs 28:25-26 (English Standard Version) ESV.   A wise and humble believer will be exalted by Jesus (see James 4:10). While a greedy person will lose all that they possess (see Proverbs 28:22).  Jesus said that the wise and faithful believer who loves their neighbor and Jesus is fulfilling God’s commandments.  “37 And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 38 This is the great and first commandment. 39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. 40 On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.” Matthew 22:37-40 ESV.  We must love the sinner not judge them.  Faith in Jesus is useless without love (see 1 Corinthians 13:1-4).  It’s more important to tell a sinner what faith in Jesus does for them, than to tell them what the wages of their sin will get them.
Is Jesus calling you?  Do you want to be clean, free from condemnation?  Do you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the following link; http://www.admenu.com/calling.htm

6 Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted. Galatians 6:1 ESV.
