Do We Understand Jesus?

Today’s Feast

Feb 25, 2015 – Matthew 13

Do We Understand Jesus?

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

20 But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things. 1 John 2:20 New King James Version (NKJV).

Dear Saints,

Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast in Matthew Chapter 13; The parable of the sower. (1-23) The parable of the tares. (24-30) (36-43) (The parables of the mustard-seed and the leaven. (31-35) The parables of the hidden treasure, the pearl of great price, the net cast into the sea, and the householder. (44-52) Jesus is again rejected at Nazareth. (53-58)- Matthew Henry Concise.

Today we prayerfully continue the Feast in the New Testament Matthew 13, here we see Jesus telling us that scriptural prophesy is being fulfilled. This is the prophesy; “You will be ever hearing, but never understanding; / you will be ever seeing, but never perceiving.’ / This people’s heart has become calloused; / they hardly hear with their ears, / and they have closed their eyesIsaiah 6:10 Hebrew; Septuagint Foot Note [a] New International Version (NIV). Once again please listen to God's . This is how we can tell that Jesus was fulfilling Old Testament prophesy. This is where faith is offered (Romans 10:17) in God’s Word the fulfillment of that which was prophesied. This is why Jesus was speaking in parables; “13 Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand. 14 And in them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says: 'Hearing you will hear and shall not understand, And seeing you will see and not perceive; 15 For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, And their eyes they have closed, Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them.'” Matthew 13:13-15 NKJV. Jesus very words to us and the disciples fulfill prophesy. Have a good day Saints, let your light shine! Be an ambassador for Christ;19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. 20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God.2 Corinthians 5:19-20 NKJV.

Don’t get caught up in “religion”, it is about a relationship. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life (Romans 5:15) to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and accept Jesus. He will come to get every Saint;36 "But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. Matthew 24:36 NKJV. We are building our relationship with Jesus right now, do not wait while you try to change anything; admenu.com/calling.htm
