(32-43)” - Matthew Henry Concise. In today’s Feast there is more about preparing yourself for service. We see here in Exodus God was very precise about the design of the breastplate.; ”8 And he made the breastplate, artistically woven like the workmanship of the ephod, of gold, blue, purple, and scarlet thread, and of fine woven linen. 9 They made the breastplate square by doubling it; a span was its length and a span its width when doubled. 10 And they set in it four rows of stones: a row with a sardius, a topaz, and an emerald was the first row; 11 the second row, a turquoise, a sapphire, and a diamond; 12 the third row, a jacinth, an agate, and an amethyst; 13 the fourth row, a beryl, an onyx, and a jasper. They were enclosed in settings of gold in their mountings.” Exodus 39:8-13, NKJV. God also tells us how to build that “faith” on that breastplate of faith.; “17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.“ Romans 10:17 NKJV. This is why we keep the first thing first, salvation in the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ. If you're preparing to serve Jesus, I would suggest the prayerful reading of Ephesians chapter six. “13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” Ephesians 6:13 NKJV. Is Jesus knocking at your door? Are you ready to answer God’s call? If the answer is yes; today is the day of your salvation! Don’t wait another minute to leave, change or quit anything (see Revelation 3:20) Jesus is at knocking at your door this minute. He wants you to come just as you are, surrendering all!
