Today's FeastWhom Do We Seek?
Please
join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about
fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s
Word in approximately three years.
“[By
Faith] 11 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the
conviction of things not seen.”
Hebrews
11:1
English Standard Version (ESV).
Dear Saints,
Thank
you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue
the Feast by reading Deuteronomy Chapter
18;
“A
provision respecting Levites. (1-8)
The abominations of the Canaanites to be avoided. (9-14)
Christ the great Prophet. (15-22)"
-
Matthew
Henry Concise.
Jesus
paid the price, not only for our sin. He opened the way for us to
speak to God. There has always been false prophets, necromancers,
star gazers commissioned by the enemy. If you have a problem or
you want to know about your future God is there for you. If you
need to know how your life is going prayerfully consult God’s
Word not a false prophet, astrologer or fortune teller. “20
But the prophet who presumes to speak a word in my name that I
have not commanded him to speak, or who speaks in the name of
other gods, that same prophet shall die.’ 21 And if you say in
your heart, ‘How may we know the word that the Lord has not
spoken?’— 22 when a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if
the word does not come to pass or come true, that is a word that
the Lord has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously.
You need not be afraid of him.”
Deuteronomy
18:20-22,
ESV. See the Lord’s Word say’s we don’t need to be afraid of
false prophets. Just be aware that Jesus holds the answer to all
of your questions. “1
Woe
to those who go down to Egypt for help and rely on horses, who
trust in chariots because they are many and in horsemen because
they are very strong, but do not look to the Holy One of Israel or
consult the Lord! 2
And
yet he is wise and brings disaster; he does not call back his
words, but will arise against the house of the evildoers and
against the helpers of those who work iniquity.3
The
Egyptians are man, and not God, and their horses are flesh, and
not spirit. When the Lord stretches out his hand, the helper will
stumble, and he who is helped will fall, and they will all perish
together..”
Isaiah
31:1-3
ESV. Hey brother Mike isn’t that Old Testament scripture your
reading? Yes but the New Testament agrees with the old. “26
I
write these things to you about those who are trying to deceive
you. 27
But
the anointing that you received from him abides in you, and you
have no need that anyone should teach you. But as his anointing
teaches you about everything, and is true, and is no lie—just as
it has taught you, abide in him. Children of God 28
And
now, little children, abide in him, so that when he appears we may
have confidence and not shrink from him in shame at his coming. 29
If
you know that he is righteous, you may be sure that everyone who
practices righteousness has been born of him.”
1
John 2:26–29,
ESV. As for us lets try to keep the first thing first. That being
salvation through the blood of the only begotten son of God,
Jesus! “13
If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your
children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy
Spirit to those who ask him!””
Luke
11:13,
ESV.
It
is God we seek in the name of Jesus! I
send the Feast out as the Holy Spirit inspires me. If the Lord is
willing I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow.
Don’t
get caught up in “religion”, it is about a relationship. Our
salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus
sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and
accept Jesus. He will come to get every Saint; “…But
concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of
heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.”
Matthew
24:36. We are building our relationship with Jesus right now, do
not wait while you try to change anything;
God
Bless You,
Brother
Mike
