Jesus Overcame Death!

Today's Feast Sept. 4, 2015 – Luke 24 Jesus Overcame Death! clic aquí en español Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. W e will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years. “13 Follow the pattern of the sound words that you have heard from me, in the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus. 14 By the Holy Spirit who dwells within us, guard the good deposit entrusted to you.” 2 Timothy 1:13-14, English Standard Version (ESV). Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast reading Luke, Chapter 24; “The resurrection of Christ. (1-12) He appears to two disciples on the way to Emmaus. (13-27)And makes himself known to them. (28-35) Christ appears to the other disciples. (36-49) His ascension. (50-53)” - Matthew Henry Concise. As we read Luke twenty four we see God’s son sacrificed for us. Now just as the Word promised Jesus overcomes death. “1 But on the first day of the week, at early dawn, they went to the tomb, taking the spices they had prepared. 2 And they found the stone rolled away from the tomb, 3 but when they went in they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. 4 While they were perplexed about this, behold, two men stood by them in dazzling apparel. 5 And as they were frightened and bowed their faces to the ground, the men said to them, “Why do you seek the living among the dead? 6 He is not here, but has risen. Remember how he told you, while he was still in Galilee, 7 that the Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men and be crucified and on the third day rise.”” Luke 24:1-7, ESV. This is done for you and I saint. God is faithful in his promise to save us. For God So Loved the World; “16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16, ESV. We should thank God every day not only for our salvation and, our purpose driven lives. “14 but Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.”” Matthew 19:14, ESV. Keep the faith keeping first thing first. That is salvation through the blood of the Lamb, Jesus. I send the Feast out as the Holy Spirit inspires me. If the Lord Is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow. Join the Saint’s marching in the image of God? You are an eternal being; Where you spend eternity depends on your relationship with Jesus! If you want to be sure, turn from sin and just say this simple prayer; “Dear God, I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ shed His precious blood and died for my sin. I am willing to turn from sin. I now invite Christ to come into my heart and life as my personal Saviour. Amen!“ If you said this prayer inviting Jesus into your heart. Now turning from sin, and seek fellowship just as we do. We worship and fellowship in a Church (group of believers) that strives to measures up to God’s Word. You need a Bible believing body of believers (church) to worship and pray with. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent (turn from sin) and accept Jesus.
