Today’s FeastNov. 11, 2015 – Ruth 2Our Desirable Conduct?
Please
join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about
fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s
Word in approximately three years.
“15
Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves
the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that
is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the
eyes and pride of life—is not from the Father but is from the
world.”
1
John 2:15-16,
English Standard Version (ESV).
Dear
Saints,
Thank
you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast in Ruth
Chapter
2;
“Ruth
gleans in the field of Boaz. (1-3)
The kindness of Boaz to Ruth. (4-16)
Ruth returns to her mother-in-law. (17-23)”
- Matthew
Henry Concise.
As
we open the second chapter in Ruth we see, an example of people
watching you as your light
shines. “10
Then she fell on her face, bowing to the ground, and said to him,
“Why have I found favor in your eyes, that you should take
notice of me, since I am a foreigner?” 11 But Boaz answered her,
“All that you have done for your mother-in-law since the death
of your husband has been fully told to me, and how you left your
father and mother and your native land and came to a people that
you did not know before. 12 The Lord repay you for what you have
done, and a full reward be given you by the Lord, the God of
Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge!””
Ruth
2:10-12,
ESV. It is always desirable to conduct ourselves as if Jesus is
watching.
Let's keep the first thing first! That is salvation through the
blood of the lamb, Jesus. If the Lord is willing I’ll send and
post the Feast again tomorrow.
Don’t
get caught up in “religion”, it is about a relationship. Our
salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus
sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and
accept Jesus. He will come to get every Saint; “36
“But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the
angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.”
Matthew
24:36,
ESV. We are building our relationship with Jesus right now, do not
wait while you try to change anything. Click this link for more
