Should You Follow Your Heart?

Today’s Feast

Feb. 16, 2016 1 Kings 11

 Should You Follow Your Heart?

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

11 Love One Another ] For this is the message that you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. 1 John 3:11, English Standard Version (ESV)

Dear Saints,

Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue our Feast in 1 Kings Chapter 11; “Solomon's wives and concubines, His idolatry. (1-8) God's anger. (9-13) Solomon's adversaries. (14-25)Jeroboam's promotion. (26-40) The death of Solomon. (41-43)” - Matthew Henry Concise.

Today we see proof that men’s hearts are continually wicked.  Solomon a man richly blessed by God turns his heart to false God’s. Solomon’s reign end’s after only forty years.   “42 And the time that Solomon reigned in Jerusalem over all Israel was forty years. 43 And Solomon slept with his fathers and was buried in the city of David his father. And Rehoboam his son reigned in his place.”  1 Kings 11:42-43, ESV.   We as children adopted into the family of God, should always guard against our hearts.  “16 Wash yourselves; make yourselves clean; remove the evil of your deeds from before my eyes; cease to do evil, 17 learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, plead the widow's cause.Isaiah 1:16-17, ESV.  Jesus died that we might have a more abundant life.  Always keeping the first thing first. That is the gift of God, salvation through the blood of our Lord Jesus.  Follow Jesus not your heart.  Your days will be filled with the joy of the Lord.  If the lord is willing I will post and send the Feast again tomorrow.

You’ll find the praise and prayer list at; http://admenu.com/prayer.html.  Prayer request or Praise reports can be sent to brother Mike at;  mike@admenu.com

Don’t get caught up in “religion”, it is about a relationship. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and accept Jesus. He will come to get every Saint; “36 “But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.Matthew 24:36, ESV. We are building our relationship with Jesus right now; do not wait while you try to change anything.  Click this link for more information; admenu.com/calling.htm .
