We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years. “25 O Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you; I will praise your name, for you have done wonderful things, plans formed of old, faithful and sure.”  Isaiah 25:1, English Standard Version (ESV) Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully read our Feast in 2 Kings, Chapter 8; “A famine in Israel, The Shunammite obtains her land. (1-6) Elisha consulted by Hazael, Death of Benhadad. (7-15)Jehoram's wicked reign in Judah. (16-24) Ahaziah's wicked reign in Judah. (25-29)” - Matthew Henry Concise. Today we are prayerfully reading, 2 Kings 8.  A famine in Israel, but because of her kindness to Elisha the Shunammite has everything restored.  Elisha consulted by Hazael the king of Syria, Hazael murdered Benhadad.  The son of Jehoshaphat, Jehoram’s wicked reign in Judah. Ahaziah’s wicked reign in Judah. “26 Ahaziah was twenty-two years old when he began to reign, and he reigned one year in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Athaliah; she was a granddaughter of Omri king of Israel. 27 He also walked in the way of the house of Ahab and did what was evil in the sight of the Lord, as the house of Ahab had done, for he was son-in-law to the house of Ahab.“ 2nd Kings 8:26-27, ESV.  That’s further proof that two wrongs don’t make a right!   Listen to God, do what’s right in God’s Word, not what is in your heart.   “[Bear One Another’s Burdens] 6 Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted.”  Galatians 6:1, ESV.   It’s sometimes harder to forgive a brother than a stranger.  If you see a saint sinning ask yourself; WWJS (What Would Jesus Say)?  Jesus died for us while we were still sinners.  So keep the first thing first. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and accept Jesus. He will come to get every Saint; “36 “But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.” Matthew 24:36, ESV.
