The Servant of the Lord

Today’s Feast
image
Apr. 16, 2014 – Isaiah 49
The Servant of the Lord

Gods Not Dead! Share the Feast in God’s Word; join us sharing God’s Word daily as Easter, Sunday April 20th approaches!

"He has remembered his steadfast love and faithfulness
    to the house of Israel.
All the ends of the earth have seen
    the salvation of our God.”
Psalm 98:3

Isaiah Chapter 48 , “The unbelief and rejection of the Jews. (1-6) Gracious promise to the Gentiles. (7-12) God's love to the church. (13-17) Its increase. (18-23) And deliverance. (24-26) ” -  Matthew Henry Concise

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading Isaiah Chapter 49.   This prophecy speaks to the coming Messiah Jesus and the rejection (see Matthew 27:26) by the Israelites.  God sent Jesus to save (see Zephaniah 2:15) the Gentile and they will carry news of God’s son back to the Israelites.; 25 For thus says the Lord: “Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken, and the prey of the tyrant be rescued, or I will contend with those who contend with you, and I will save your children. 26 I will make your oppressors eat their own flesh, and they shall be drunk with their own blood as with wine. Then all flesh shall know that I am the Lord your Savior, and your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.” Isaiah 49:25-26  English Standard Versions (ESV).   God sent his only son Jesus to save (see John 3:16 ) Jew and Gentile alike. [Fulfilling the Law Through Love] Owe no one anything, except to love each other, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law. Romans 13:8 ESV.   God is awesome He loved the His Creation so much that while they were still deep in sin (see Romans 5:8) he sent Jesus to  redeem is.  We must carry the Word to the world with the same respect and love as Jesus brought the Word to us.  After all; we are the ambassadors for (see 2 Corinthians 5:20) Jesus!  Therefore we carry God’s Word in love to Jew and Gentile (see Romans 15:8) alike.

Can you hear Jesus calling you?   Do you want freedom?  Do you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the following link; http://www.admenu.com/calling.htm

The Feast belongs to Jesus! It is intended to encourage Saints to pray and read every word in the bible!  Let me know if you have any questions or comments, by replying here on the blog or in an email.

The Feast belongs to Jesus you may share it in its entirety anywhere with anyone!

March 13, 2013 - Blog Dow

TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES
March 13, 2013 -  Blog Down

Dear  Saints,
Yesterday your blog for the Feast went down “due to technical problems”.  Last month our main site admenu.com was hacked twice.  I had to rebuild it twice.  I just barely got it up to speed yesterday.

Normally I would think that this was all a coincidence however I read the headlines in the NY Times this morning;  U.S. Demands China Block Cyberattacks and Agree to Rules

By MARK LANDLER and DAVID E. SANGER
A speech by a White House official was the first public confrontation with China over cyberespionage and came days after a Chinese official rejected evidence of a military role in hacking.”
Whether or not it was them if they are hacking to cause chaos they are hitting the wrong site.  Our cyber protection has an element missing in most cyber protection packages.  Our software and internet protection is backed up and underwritten by Jesus, the Holy Spirit and God.  No matter how much we are attacked we will count it as joy, in Jesus.
Thank you all for standing with us in prayer, thought and actions.  Our sites are dedicated to salvation in the name of Jesus for all they reach
Just for your information our site is backed up with another blog at; http://feastable7.blogspot.com/ and as it conversely at; http:/admenu.wordpress.com/

God Bless You,
Brother Mike

In whom we trust - 2 Sam 9

l The Feast l
2sam

8th Year 12-13 Edition 3 – 2nd Sam. 9

Nov 10 2012 II Sam 9

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully Feast in the book of 2 Samuel 9. David out of loyalty to Jonathan and his father Saul, sends for Mephibosheth. And provides for Jonathan's son Mephibosheth, David vows to take care of him from this time on. Once again when enemies array themselves against David, God delivers his enemies into his hands; 15 But when the Syrians saw that they had been defeated by Israel, they gathered themselves together. 16 And Hadadezer sent and brought out the Syrians who were beyond the Euphrates. They came to Helam, with Shobach the commander of the army of Hadadezer at their head. 17 And when it was told David, he gathered all Israel together and crossed the Jordan and came to Helam. The Syrians arrayed themselves against David and fought with him. 18 And the Syrians fled before Israel, and David killed of the Syrians the men of 700 chariots, and 40,000 horsemen, and wounded Shobach the commander of their army, so that he died there. 19 And when all the kings who were servants of Hadadezer saw that they had been defeated by Israel, they made peace with Israel and became subject to them. So the Syrians were afraid to save the Ammonites anymore.” 2 Samuel 8:15-19 English Standard Version (ESV). Like David we as a nation, should align ourselves with God. Tuning from the sin of a few who refuse to honor our God. Then our nation offering to serve His purposes, would be healed, God would once again be our protector. As a Christian Nation we need to truly “trust in God”.

Devotional By Pastor Glen Aycock;

'DEVOTIONAL BY PASTOR GLEN AYCOCK- No 41

Scripture: "Thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven."

Dear People I want to share a letter written by my personal pastor, Dr. Joe Taylor. I challenge you to live in the spirit of God and keep praying for revival.

By now, the "40 Days of Prayer" emphasis with other churches across our nation is formally concluded, but our need to pray has only just begun. Obviously, God has allowed the people of our country to elect their leaders. And for many there is a great sadness at the results.

If the election results tell us anything it is that our country is divided on values and faith. Traditional Christian values are in decline. We must do a better job being the salt and light that God has called us to be. Society has changed its mind on so many things that God has not.

When people pray and hope and the outcome is not what we expected, then we often ask,’ why?" Some conclude that "prayer didn't work," or that "God didn't hear." We often get discouraged and even depressed, and although these emotions are perfectly alright to feel, they also are prone to make us more vulnerable to temptation or to withdraw to a closed heart. If these are your thoughts please consider that God allows all of us to choose to follow him or not. We prove that every day. Also, let me assure you that your prayers were heard by God and that God is the one who "works” and prayer is the vehicle that "carries forth the will of our God." That is why he taught us to pray "Thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven." I have felt encouraged at all the prayer across our land and am absolutely convinced that we are all better because of it. Progress has been made. I have also been encouraged at all the daily prayer devotions written by so many in our church. This has shown me how thoughtful and "God-focused" our membership is.
Our first task is to stay close to God and to continue to say no to sin and follow Him daily. Our second task is to share the love of God and the good news of the gospel to those God gives us opportunity. We must continue to pray for our leaders that they too will respond to the call of God. And because the new appointments (for life) of the U.S. Supreme Court will reflect the sitting administration, we must pray for the health and safety for all Supreme Court Justices and their desire to complete this term.
I was uplifted by Max Lucado's comments: In a letter published on his blog, author and pastor Max Lucado comforted believers: "Let others lose sleep over the election. Let others grow bitter from party or petty rivalries. Let others cast their hope with the people of the elephant or the donkey. Not followers of Jesus. We place our trust in the work of God. ... How many kings has he seen come and go? How many nations has he seen stand and fall? He is above them all. And he oversees them all. So, while others get anxious, we don't. Here is what we do: we pray."

And one more thought: no matter who is president, Jesus is still Lord! And He will always be. Forever and Ever, AMEN!

Please be in church this Sunday. God has put an important message on my heart, and your pastor needs your support.”
In His Love, Joe”

God you are our savior, our first love and our leader. We turn from the false god's like elephants and donkeys, made gods by men, in Jesus name. We will keep the first thing first ,that is salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. “God thunders wondrously with his voice; he does great things that we cannot comprehend. For to the snow he says, ‘Fall on the earth,’ likewise to the downpour, his mighty downpour.” Job 37:5-6 ESV. Please continue to pray that God's will is done in our nation, as it is in God's kingdom.

Elect to follow God - 2nd Sam 5

8th Year 12-13 Edition 3 – 2nd Sam. 5
l The Feast l

Nov 6_2012 II Sam 5
National Days of Prayer Day 40 of 40

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully Feast in the book of 2 Samuel 5. We see God make David king over all of His people. The Lord God leads David so he takes the strong-hold of Zion. One nation under God, David's kingdom established. Guides David so that he defeats the Philistines. 22 And the Philistines came up yet again and spread out in the Valley of Rephaim. 23 And when David inquired of the Lord, he said, “You shall not go up; go around to their rear, and come against them opposite the balsam trees. 24 And when you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the balsam trees, then rouse yourself, for then the Lord has gone out before you to strike down the army of the Philistines.” 25 And David did as the Lord commanded him, and struck down the Philistines from Geba to Gezer.” 2 Samuel 5:22-25 English Standard Version (ESV). When people call and wait on the Lord God, he defends them. If we wait on God, he will go before us.

Prayer for America – ELECTION DAY

Posted: 05 Nov 2012 10:00 PM PST

Who knows but that you have come to royal position for such a time as this?” –Esther 4:14

The well-known story of Esther becoming queen at a crucial time in the history of the Jewish people has inspired many through the years. The Jews faced annihilation at the hands of their enemies. Esther would be putting her life in danger by speaking out, but her cousin Mordecai’s words gave her the courage she needed. He appealed to the timing of her part in this drama, “for such a time as this.”

I believe it is God’s timing that you have prayed your way through this little book. Like Esther, we are living in perilous times in which our nation is under assault from foreign enemies, and from those within who have failed to understand the critical role of the Christian faith to the greatness of America. It is a situation that cannot simply be fixed by a new leader, new plan, or different strategy. We need the intervention of God!

God steps in when His people passionately ask Him to. The most important thing Christians can do for America is to pray. In these days of distress, the Lord is raising up a people who will intercede with faith and fervency! You are answering the call. Pray . . . for such a time as this!

Prayer Points

• Thank the Lord for His great gift of prayer.

• Pray for a clearer understanding of the days in which we live and how we should pray.

• Pray for a spirit of prayer to come over the church in America.
My Prayer

for our nation for such a time as this.”
Father, I am so grateful that You hear when we call. For weeks now, we have been praying for our beloved nation. Thank You for calling us to prayer and showing us how to pray. Give us an understanding of the times in which we live and Your purposes for our nation. We want always to line up our prayers with Your desires. Would You pour out a spirit of prayer upon the church in America? Show us that we are indeed called to pray

Today we finish our 40 days of prayer for our nation, thank you for praying with us. I hope you will continue reading God's Word everyday with us. Be still and listen for God's purpose in everything you do. Help us keep the first thing first that is salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. “making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his purpose, which he set forth in Christ as a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth.” Ephesians 1:9-10 ESV

Do it in? John 12

7th Year 11-12 Edition 3 – Jhn 12
l The Feast l

Sep 18_2012 John 12

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully Feast in John 12. Jesus came into our world to save us from ourselves. That is to say from our own sin. Does it seem like some times we are drifting without direction? In those times it is important to turn to Jesus. Jesus not only forgives our sin he also gives us light so that we can see where he directs us. “44 And Jesus cried out and said, “Whoever believes in me, believes not in me but in him who sent me. 45 And whoever sees me sees him who sent me. 46 I have come into the world as light, so that whoever believes in me may not remain in darkness. 47 If anyone hears my words and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world. 48 The one who rejects me and does not receive my words has a judge; the word that I have spoken will judge him on the last day. 49 For I have not spoken on my own authority, but the Father who sent me has himself given me a commandment—what to say and what to speak. 50 And I know that his commandment is eternal life. What I say, therefore, I say as the Father has told me.”” John 12:44-50, English Standard Version (ESV). When you receive his direction you will share His love. Not only in words but also in deeds. People will know you are sincere because of the love you share for Jesus. “13 If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing.

4 Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant 5 or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; 6 it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. 7 Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.” 1 Corinthians 13 English Standard Version (ESV), The Way of Love. By love they shall know that Jesus has sent us. He sends us to share his love for God's creation. God doesn't scream; “I want to condemn you to HELL, for your Sin!” Rather God says he loves the sinner so much that he sent his only begotten son, Jesus to pay the price for our sin. God's commandments doesn't save us from sin. Rather they serve to expose our sin. The most important commandment of all testifies of a loving relationship with him. In it he also expects us to share that love in our relationship with our neighbors. 36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” 37 And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 38 This is the great and first commandment. 39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. 40 On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.”” John 10:9-11 ESV. Our faith in Him produces that walk of love. His love enables us to share our relationship with God, with those around us. “Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.” Philippians 2:3-4 ESV. Love will allow us to keep the first thing first! That is salvation through the blood of the lamb, Jesus. Let's continue to walk in and share His love. Join us at http://www.admenu.com/am/praise.html for praise and prayer.
