Dear Saints,

Today as we prayerfully Feast in I Chronicles 11.  I told you image Sandy and I have been married 42 Years.  Today my Grandson Michael (3 Years old) is visiting us.   I keep a computer in the living room for his use, and something went wrong with it.  He went to his grandmother and told her the computer wasn’t working.  She said; “I’ll fix it when I get done with what I’m doing.”  He turned around immediately headed to the computer singing a little song; “Help is on the way! Help is on the way!”  Then he played right by his computer as he waited until she got there to fix the problem.  What a great display of faith, he asked her to fix his computer.  When she told him she would be there when she finished what she was doing.  He knew that his grandmother knew he had a problem and she promised to fix it.   This is the kind of faith we should have when we ask, for He will give us the answer to our request.   Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.” - Hebrews 11:1. Lord willing I'll send and post the Feast tomorrow..

“[Sons of God] you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”- Galatians 3:26-28

Mon Jan 08_9 10 I Chronicles 10

Dear Saints,

Thank U for Bearing with me

image Today as we prayerfully Feast in I Chronicles 10. I hope your weekend went as well or better than mine. How did I use the time God gave me to glorify him? I was at a party my wife gave for my son-in-law. She made a delightful turkey  dinner; it was very noisy just before the dinner was ready to be served. At that that point I asked everyone for silence and it took a bit to get. So in the blessing I thanked God for my son-in-law and his, friends and relatives then for the dinner that was to be served. While we all sat about eating I asked one man how his father was doing. I thanked him for the good news and said; ”I will change the prayer to praise.” “And Jesus did such a number of other things that, if every one was recorded, it is my opinion that even the world itself is not great enough for the books there would be.” John 21:25. I should share God’s Grace, Lord willing I'll send and post the Feast tomorrow..

“In my anguish I cried to the LORD, and he answered by setting me free. The LORD is with me; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?”- Psalm 118:5-6

The Feast

Monday, January 11, 2010, I Chronicles 10, The death of Saul.

- The design chiefly in view in these books of the Chronicles, appears to be to preserve the records of the house of David. Therefore the writer repeats not the history of Saul's reign, but only of his death, by which a way was made for David to the throne. And from the ruin of Saul, we may learn, 1. That the sin of sinners will certainly find them out, sooner or later; Saul died for his transgression. 2. That no man's greatness can exempt him from the judgments of God. 3. Disobedience is a killing thing. Saul died for not keeping the word of the Lord. May be delivered from unbelief, impatience, and despair. By waiting on the Lord we shall obtain a kingdom that cannot be moved.”Henrys Concise

Dear Saints,

Today as we prayerfully Feast in I Chronicles 7 8 & 9. I’ve been using the imbedded links to help me read the Feast. It is easier if you clink on the link and when the chapter is loaded there is another button that looks like a small speaker click on that and Bible Gateway will read the chapter to you. This is great when we are reading names that are hard to pronounce. "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.” - John 14:26. We all know that the reason for the Feast is to read every word in God’s Word. Lord willing I'll send and post the Feast Monday.

The Feast

Fri, Jan 08, 10, I Chronicles 7, Genealogies. We have an account of Levi in this chapter. The priests and Levites were more concerned than any other Israelites, to preserve their descent clear, and to be able to prove it; because all the honours and privileges of their office depended upon their descent. Now, the Spirit of God calls ministers to their work, without any limit as to the families they came from; and then, as now, though believers and ministers may be very useful to the church, none but our great High Priest can make atonement for sin, nor can any be accepted but through his atonement.” Henrys Concise

Sat, Jan 09, 10 I Chronicles 8, Genealogies. “– Here is a larger list of Benjamin's tribe. We may suppose that many things in these genealogies, which to us seem difficult, abrupt, and perplexed, were plain and easy at that time, and fully answered the intention for which they were published. Many great and mighty nations then were in being upon earth, and many illustrious men, whose names are now wholly forgotten; while the names of multitudes of the Israel of God are here kept in everlasting remembrance. The memory of the just is blessed.” Henrys Concise

Sun, Jan 10, 10 I Chronicles 9, Genealogies “- This chapter expresses that one end of recording all these genealogies was, to direct the Jews, when they returned out of captivity, with whom to unite, and where to reside. Here is an account of the good state into which the affairs of religion were put, on the return from Babylon. Every one knew his charge. Work is likely to be done well when every one knows the duty of his place, and makes a business of it. God is the God of order. Thus was the temple a figure of the heavenly one, where they rest not day nor night from praising God, ( Revelation 4:8 ) . Blessed be His name, believers there shall, not in turn, but all together, without interruption, praise him night and day: may the Lord make each of us fit for the inheritance of the saints in light.” Henrys Concise

God bless you,

Brother Mike

Thu, Jan 07, 10 I Chronicles 6

Dear Saints,

Today as we prayerfully Feast in I Chronicles 6. I think of my wife and I having been married 42 Years as a long time. However when we look at eternity we realize it 42 years isn’t even notable. “For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable and the mortal with immortality. When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: "Death has been swallowed up in victory." "Where, O death is your victory? Where, O death is your sting.” 1 Corinthians 15:53-55 (New International Version) I really have trouble wrapping my brain around immortality. Lord willing I'll send and post the Feast tomorrow..
