Separated from the love of God?– 1 Chronicles 7          Feb 17, 2013 - 1 Chronicles 7 Return to Admenu Home Dear  Saints, Today we prayerfully Feast in 1 Chronicles 7.  Oh no! Not more of this Fathers, Mothers, sons and daughters?  Saints, there is a purpose for every Word in the Holy Word of God.   “40 All of these were men of Asher, heads of fathers' houses, approved, mighty warriors, chiefs of the princes. Their number enrolled by genealogies, for service in war, was 26,000 men.”1 Chronicles 7:40, English Standard Version (ESV).  The Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.  This doesn’t mean to be afraid of God.  It means to hold God in reverence, highest esteem, to understand there is no power higher than God.   “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.” Romans 8:35, 37 ESV.  Because we “FEAR (hold in reverence, highest esteem and the highest power.) GOD”. We have faith in and love God in return.  We keep the first thing first.  That is salvation through the blood of the Lamb.  Can we be separated from the love of God?  No! Not if we wait on God, build our faith reading his Word daily and stay in a loving relationship with Jesus.  We have been sealed with the Holy Spirit; He will give us a peace that passes the understanding of this world.  “Men become abominable when they forsake the worship of the true God, for any creature object.” – Matthew Henry Concise. Praise God that He has given us everything we need in this life and that is Jesus. Set down and read His word and pray as you read so you may get to know Jesus as your Lord and saviour. Ask Him into your heart and be at peace in this world that has so much trouble in it. We have been called by God to testify about Jesus; to tell about His great love He has for all His people. Read God’s word with Prayer. Read His word every chance you get. Let all the people Rejoice and praise Him. This is inspired by the Holy Spirit. Praise God. What kind of Love? – 1 Chronicles 6         Feb 16, 2013 - 1 Chronicles 6 Return to Admenu Home Dear  Saints, Today we prayerfully Feast in 1 Chronicles 6.  Once in a while it \is hard to see what God is trying to say to us.  As we read today his love should shine on our hearts.  Because of Jesus we can approach the Holy of Holies, as only the Levites could.   “1 The sons of Levi: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari..”1 Chronicles 6:20, English Standard Version (ESV).  By whom have we been loved more than our awesome God!  “In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.” 1 John 4:10 ESV.  Today the Feast will feature; Devotional Series On Loving God! Posted 2/16/2013 THE LOVE OF GOD SCRIPTURE:  ROMANS 5:5-8; ROMANS 8:38-39 Ro 5:5 We’re not ashamed to have this confidence, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us. Ro 5:8 Christ died for us while we were still sinners. This demonstrates God’s love for us. Ro 8:38 I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love which Christ Jesus our Lord shows us. {The last part of verse 39 (in Greek) has been moved to verse 38 to express the complex Greek sentence structure more clearly in English.} We can’t be separated by death or life, by angels or rulers, by anything in the present or anything in the future, by forces DEVOTIONAL:                        ETERNAL LOVE We cannot imagine how awesome the love of God is toward us. Romans 5:8 explains that Christ died for us while we were actively pursuing sin and being pursued by sin. Our motives were based on selfishness and not righteousness. We were willful sinners.  God chose to demonstrate His love for us by sending his Son to pay the price of sin on the cruel cross. Would you have stayed faithful to the mission of rescuing those who did not love you? I don’t know about you but I think I would have lost it when I was spit on and beaten and gang punched. How amazing that love is and how can we doubt it. It is through Jesus we find true love. This is a love that does not fade and we cannot be separated from it by: ·        Death ·        Life ·        Anything present ·        Anything in the future ·        Forces of demonic attack Prayer Thought: Dear Jesus thank you for pouring God’s love into our heart. We so need you in our hearts and we praise you for your eternal love. Let us live demonstrating your love to our fellow man. Faith and Hope in God! – 1 Chronicles 5        Feb 15, 2013 - 1 Chronicles 5 Return to Admenu Home Dear  Saints, Today we prayerfully Feast in 1 Chronicles 5.  We see hope here where the people have the faith to call on God.  “20 And when they prevailed over them, the Hagrites and all who were with them were given into their hands, for they cried out to God in the battle, and he granted their urgent plea because they trusted in him.”1 Chronicles 5:20, English Standard Version (ESV).  They are in war and they have the hope that God will save them.  That is they have the faith that God will save them.  When I see persons with no hope it is because they do not have faith in God.  “In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.” 1 John 4:10 ESV.  Those that have discovered the love of God have hope.  If there is no faith in God then there is no hope.  Because we have faith in and love for God we keep the first thing first.  That is salvation through the blood of the Lamb.  This faith in God’s love, gives us hope for all things in God.. Posted 2/15/2013 DEVOTIONAL SERIES ON LOVING GOD SCRIPTURE: DEUTERONOMY 6: 5-9 5 Love GOD, your God, with your whole heart: love him with all that’s in you; love him with all you’ve got! 6 Write these commandments that I’ve given you today on your hearts. Get them inside of you 7 and then get them inside your children. Talk about them wherever you are, sitting at home or walking in the street; talk about them from the time you get up in the morning to when you fall into bed at night. 8 Tie them on your hands and foreheads as a reminder; 9 inscribe them on the doorposts of your homes and on your city gates. DEVOTIONAL:                            “LOVING GOD” Let us consider the essential of relationship with God. We are commanded that the foundation is to love the Lord our God. The question is, “How”?? Let us listen carefully to the answer and think about it in the next few minutes. The instruction given includes the answer in verse 5. We are commanded to love Him with our whole heart. Notice there no such thing as part time love of God. Neither is there a stop and go angle in loving God. Certainly there is not a halfway effort. Verse urges to love Him with all that is in us and with all the strength we have. This means one hundred percent action employed in committing our love to Him. As a coach I never asked my team for a little effort to be extended on the contest field but to give every last ounce of effort and to go far beyond the comfort zone. That is what God expects of us. We need to step outside the door of convenience and venture forward in active Love of God. This means absolute faith that God is with us and will keep His promises toward us. Let us realize we are on a mission here and our home is faraway on a golden shore; we are here on a mission for our God and King. The first job we need to attend to is to write these commandments on our hearts and then teach them to our children. Let our conversation be about loving God. Dear Jesus help us to increase our Love for You today. Honorable Saints? – 1 Chronicles 4

Honorable Saints? – 1 Chronicles 4  &          Feb 14, 2013 - 1 Chronicles 4 Return to Admenu Home Dear  Saints, Today as we are prayerfully reading, 1 Chronicles 4 we see a man named Jabeze, Here we see the lineage of all the families of David king of Israel.  The scripture say’s that Jebez was an honorable man, in fact it say’s he was more honorable than his brothers.  Why does the scripture say that about him?  Let’s look at this verse; “10 Jabez called upon the God of Israel, saying, “Oh that you would bless me and enlarge my border, and that your hand might be with me, and that you would keep me from harm so that it might not bring me pain!” And God granted what he asked.”1 Chronicles 4:10, English Standard Version (ESV).  We see that he is honorable in that he calls on God, to bless him without pain.  I think it was more than just asking God to bless him.  I think when he asked God he really expected an answer.  I think he must have also loved all who lived in his his borders.  “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” John 13:34-35 ESV.  When we call in God the first thing we have to ask ourselves is this honorable thing I am seeking from God?  Will this honor God and be a blessing to those around us?  We must believe that God will answer our prayers!  Then look for the answer, be ready for God’s answer and if the answer is no; we need to know that our request no matter what we may think was outside of God’s will.  Let’s keep the first thing first.  That is salvation through the blood of the Lamb.  Keep our sights on and our faith in Jesus, and then we will be honorable saints.  Our love for one another is how the world will see God’s love in us. Everyone who loves is born of God and experiences a relationship with God. 8 The person who refuses to love doesn’t know the first thing about God, because God is love—so you can’t know him if you don’t love. 9 This is how God showed his love for us: God sent his only Son into the world so we might live through him. 10 This is the kind of love we are talking about—not that we once upon a time loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to clear away our sins and the damage they’ve done to our relationship with God. 11 My dear, dear friends, if God loved us like this, we certainly ought to love each other. 12 No one has seen God, ever. But if we love one another, God dwells deeply within us, and his love becomes complete in us—perfect love! 13 This is how we know we’re living steadily and deeply in him, and he in us: He’s given us life from his life, from his very own Spirit. DEVOTIONAL: CONFIRMING YOUR LOVE OF GOD How does the world know you love God? The scriptures today give a solid answer to that question. Here are the proponents of true love. 1.       Love is a continuous flow of loving each other. No stop and go actions. 2.       Love is an outflow of valid relationship with God. 3.       Love begins on Gods initiative; God loved us first and sent His Son to be a sacrifice for our sin. It is not His will that any should perish so He provided a way for our sins to be forgiven and relationship restored. 4.       As we love others God love completes the cycle and is perfected in us. 5.       We know we live because His love has given us life with a capital “L” that overflows in us through His Spirit. Love rules in our life. Dear Jesus let your love show in us by our love of others.
