What’s Better Than Life! Sep. 18, 2013 – Psalms 44 Today’s Feast Psalms Chapter 44 - “A petition for succour and relief.” - Matthew Henry Concise  Return to Admenu Home Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Psalms 44.  David is and his people are down.  They feel like God has abandoned them.  David appeals to God for support.  He appeals to God for the sake of His love.  “ 25 For our soul is bowed down to the dust;     our belly clings to the ground. 26 Rise up; come to our help!     Redeem us for the sake of your steadfast love!.”   Psalms 44:11 - English Standard Version (ESV).  Remember while God knows our every thought we can’t begin to know his.  No matter what we think is going on, even when we feel abandoned. We need to hang on to the love of God.  Reading God’s Word and praying every day while we wait on Jesus.  His loving kindness is better than life (See Psalm 63:3).  His loving kindness has set us free!  “1 There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.  2 For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death. ”  Romans 8:1-2 ESV. Listen! Jesus is calling you?  Can you hear him?  Today is the day of salvation. His Promise To Us! Sep. 17, 2013 – Psalms 43 Today’s Feast Psalms Chapter 43 - “David endeavours to still his spirit, with hope and confidence in God.” - Matthew Henry Concise  Return to Admenu Home Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Psalms 43.  David is suffering his world seems to be devoid of God.  He is asking God; “where are you?”  “5 Why are you cast down, O my soul,     and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him,     my salvation and my God.   Psalms 43:11 - English Standard Version (ESV).   Listen saint, are there times when God seems far away.  Like you’re struggling to keep your life on track without God?  When you feel caught up in turmoil in a Godless world what can you do?  Do what David does.  Draw close to God in Jesus name.  Praise the precious name of Jesus.  He will never leave or forsake you.  We have his Word on it. When God Answers Us! September 16, 2013 – Psalms 42 Today’s Feast Psalms Chapter 42 - “The conflict in the soul of a believer.” - Matthew Henry Concise  Return to Admenu Home Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Psalms 42.  The Psalmist calls out to God with his very soul! He has no doubt about God answering his prayer. “11 Why are you cast down, O my soul,     and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him,     my salvation and my God.”   Psalms 42:11 - English Standard Version (ESV).   When we pray we need to examine our heart (See Luke 16:15) God does!  Jesus allows us to sincerely take our needs to God (See Mark 11:24) in prayer.  Whenever we turn to God in prayer we should expect an answer.  When God answers our prayers we need to give God all the glory!  “[ Wisdom from Above ] Who is wise and understanding among you?
