The down side?  – Romans 5 March 12, 2013 - Romans 5 Return to Admenu Home Dear  Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Romans 5.  We are justified through faith in the righteousness of Jesus. When a sinner becomes a true believer the blessing that takes place in the sinner's life is a peace with God. We are justified by our faith in Jesus.  Our justification in Christ Jesus puts in a state of being just as if we had never sinned. Just as sin was brought into this world by the fall of Adam.  The grace of God, through the gift of salvation through Jesus brings a more powerful life, more powerful than, Adam's original sin which brought misery and death.  God’s grace has the effect of power beyond the natural man’s understanding; “22 That is why his faith was “counted to him as righteousness.” 23 But the words “it was counted to him” were not written for his sake alone, 24 but for ours also. It will be counted to us who believe in him who raised from the dead Jesus our Lord, 25 who was delivered up for our trespasses and raised for our justification.” Romans 5:22-24, English Standard Version (ESV).  Our joy in the grace of God through Jesus causes the angels to rejoice (see Luke 15:8-10. This is the lamp of Jesus that overcomes darkness`; “3 His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence, 4 by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire.” 2 Peter 1:4 ESV.  We are cured of sinful desire, by the grace of God and salvation through Jesus.  Let your light shine because there is no down side in Jesus.  If you want Jesus to give you peace with God. Right now while he is calling you say this simple prayer from your heart to Jesus; "Heavenly Father, have mercy on me, a sinner. I believe in you and that your word is true. I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of the living God and that he died on the cross so that I may now have forgiveness for my sins and eternal life. I know that without you in my heart my life is meaningless. I believe in my heart that you, Lord God, raised Him from the dead. Please Jesus forgive me, for every sin I have ever committed or done in my heart, please Lord Jesus forgive me and come into my heart as my personal Lord and Savior today. I need you to be my Father and my friend. I give you my life and ask you to take full control from this moment on; I pray this in the name of Jesus Christ." Amen. TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES March 13, 2013 -  Blog Down Return to Admenu Home Dear  Saints, Yesterday your blog for the Feast went down “due to technical problems”.  Last month our main site admenu.com was hacked twice.  I had to rebuild it twice.  I just barely got it up to speed yesterday. Normally I would think that this was all a coincidence however I read the headlines in the NY Times this morning;  “U.S. Demands China Block Cyberattacks and Agree to Rules By MARK LANDLER and DAVID E. SANGER A speech by a White House official was the first public confrontation with China over cyberespionage and came days after a Chinese official rejected evidence of a military role in hacking.” Whether or not it was them if they are hacking to cause chaos they are hitting the wrong site.  Our cyber protection has an element missing in most cyber protection packages.  Our software and internet protection is backed up and underwritten by Jesus, the Holy Spirit and God.  No matter how much we are attacked we will count it as joy, in Jesus.  Thank you all for standing with us in prayer, thought and actions.  Our sites are dedicated to salvation in the name of Jesus for all they reach.  Just for your information our site is backed up with another blog at; http://feastable7.blogspot.com/ and as it conversely at; http:/admenu.wordpress.com/ God Bless You, Brother Mike

May we be unhappy? – Romans 4

May we be unhappy?  – Romans 4 March 11, 2013 - Romans 4 Return to Admenu Home Dear  Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Romans 4 We are reading God’s Word daily and this builds our faith (see Romans 10:17).  Because of our faith is in Christ Jesus, we know that our righteousness is in Jesus.    “22 That is why his faith was “counted to him as righteousness.” 23 But the words “it was counted to him” were not written for his sake alone, 24 but for ours also. It will be counted to us who believe in him who raised from the dead Jesus our Lord, 25 who was delivered up for our trespasses and raised for our justification.” Romans 4:22-24, English Standard Version (ESV).  Because we have faith that Jesus died on the cross for all of our sin, and raised from the dead, we are justified.  Just as if we had never sinned, that is our justification in Jesus. “Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations,” Deuteronomy 7:9 ESV.  We are commanded to share God’s love with the whole world (see Matthew 28:18-20).  It’s easy to share God’s love because He never changes.  We love, follow and share our awesome God.  Happenstance changes from one moment to the next.  So we may be unhappy when we see the conditions changing in the world around us, but they can never steal our joy.  Our faith, hope, love and joy are in Jesus!  Let your light shine. Hope without Jesus?  – Romans 3 March 10, 2013 - Romans 3 Return to Admenu Home Dear  Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Romans 3.   The question posed here in verses nineteen and twenty is; “can I be saved by following the law?”  I believe salvation is not possible without our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.   “19 Now we know that whatever the law says it speaks to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be stopped, and the whole world may be held accountable to God. 20 For by works of the law no human being will be justified in his sight, since through the law comes knowledge of sin.” Romans 3:19-20, English Standard Version (ESV).  The law cannot save us!  We cannot do away with the law, It simply points to what we must or must not do.  We are justified by and our righteousness is in Jesus.  In other words there is no justification or salvation to be found in the law.  “but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect,” 1 Peter 3:15 ESV.  We honor Jesus, because he is the savior.  There is no law or person other than Jesus that can pay for our sins.  It is a privilege to share Jesus with those who don’t know Him.  Those that have accepted Jesus are in a relationship with Him.  We share his love with others gently and respectively, knowing that there is no peace without salvation.  There is no hope without Jesus!  The following quote is from; Devotionals By Pastor Glen, Click this title to read more on this subject; “Responsibilities Inherent From Following Christ” …”Dear Child of God. Are we to judge others?  – Romans 2                      March 9, 2013 - Romans 2 Return to Admenu Home Dear  Saints, Today we prayerfully begin our Feast in Romans 2.   Has God called us to judge others?  Do we do right in judging another’s heart?   I think we would do well to examine our own heart accept Jesus and repent.  “3 Do you suppose, O man—you who judge those who practice such things and yet do them yourself—that you will escape the judgment of God? 4 Or do you presume on the riches of his kindness and forbearance and patience, not knowing that God's kindness is meant to lead you to repentance? 5 But because of your hard and impenitent heart you are storing up wrath for yourself on the day of wrath when God's righteous judgment will be revealed.” Romans 2:3-5, English Standard Version (ESV).  When we do well accepting Jesus and repent of our own sins then God can use us in the harvest.  If we acknowledge God and don’t accept Jesus and turn from our sinful acts, we are still lost.  I believe it is better that we accepted Jesus’ gift of salvation and turned from our sin.  “8 Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord, nor of me his prisoner, but share in suffering for the gospel by the power of God, 9 who saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works but because of his own purpose and grace, which he gave us in Christ Jesus before the ages began,” 2 Timothy 1:8-9 ESV. This gift of salvation urges us on to good works as free servants filled with the Holy Spirit.  Unashamed sharing the work that Jesus has done in our life.  We herald God giving God all the glory, not judging others.  We proceed following Jesus, with Spirit filled lives, sharing the Word.   The Feast Sat, March 9, 2013, Romans 2, - “The Jews could not be justified by the law of Moses, any more than the Gentiles by the law of nature. What are we sharing?  – Romans 1    March 8, 2013 - Romans 1 Return to Admenu Home Dear  Saints, Today we prayerfully begin our Feast in Romans 1.   I see many things that are worthy for expounding upon in Romans 1.  I have chosen to dwell on Paul’s greeting to the saints in Rome.  “6 including you who are called to belong to Jesus Christ, 7 To all those in Rome who are loved by God and called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.  8 First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for all of you, because your faith is proclaimed in all the world. ” Romans 1:6-8, English Standard Version (ESV).  This describes you to a tee Saints.  You are loved by God, having received God’s gift of salvation and grace through Jesus.  “[ God of All Comfort ] Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.” 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 ESV This is part of our nature as saints, being comforted by peace from the Holy Spirit by whom we are sealed.  This is what we are sharing with all who will come.  Salvation through Jesus and peace that passes understanding from the Holy Spirit.   Let the light of your soul, redeemed by Jesus shine!  The following quote is from; Matthew Henry’s Concise, Romans 1 Romans an overview; “The scope or design of the apostle in writing to the Romans appears to have been, to answer the unbelieving, and to teach the believing Jew; to confirm the Christian and to convert the idolatrous Gentile; and to show the Gentile convert as equal with the Jewish, in respect of his religious condition, and his rank in the Divine favour. These several designs are brought into on view, by opposing or arguing with the infidel or unbelieving Jew, in favour of the Christian or believing Gentile.
