Where can we be happy?

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Psalms 98 & 99.  The Psalmist describes the glory and joy of the people who choose God as their leader.  8 O Lord our God, you answered them;

    you were a forgiving God to them,

    but an avenger of their wrongdoings.

9 Exalt the Lord our God,

    and worship at his holy mountain;

    for the Lord our God is holy!  Psalm 99:8-9 - English Standard Version (ESV).   Jesus is the savior of the people who accept him as their leader.  When we ask him into our hearts the weight of the world is lifted of our shoulders (See Matthew 11:30).  15 And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the Lord, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 24:15 ESV.  Those who accept God’s gift of salvation have seen enough of the world to convince them that any other path ends in sorrow and destruction (see Galatians 5:19-21).

Jesus is the answer for the world today!  Hallelujah!

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Psalms 97.  The Psalmist describes our God as being omnipotent.  He thanks God for being the light of the world urging God’s people to give thanks.  11 Light is sown for the righteous,

    and joy for the upright in heart.

12 Rejoice in the Lord, O you righteous,

    and give thanks to his holy name!  Psalm 97:11-12 - English Standard Version (ESV).   Jesus is the light of the World.  We saints are to follow Jesus and let His light shine thru us.  (See Colossians 3:17).  1 First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, 2 for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. 1 Timothy 2:1-2 ESV.  Throughout our walk with Jesus we should be holding our friends, acquaintances and leaders up to God, asking for His guidance and blessings (see  1 Timothy 4:4-5).

Take heart Saints; Jesus has overcome the world!  Hallelujah!

Our Lord Reigns!

Today’s Feast

Worship in the Splendor of Holiness!
Nov. 6, 2013 – Psalms 96

Psalms Chapter 96 - “A call to all people to praise God. (1-9) God's government and judgment. (10-13) - Matthew Henry Concise

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Psalms 96.  Once again; The Psalmist is encouraging God’s people to raise their voices in praise.  He reminds us that in the end God is our leader in all things.  11 Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice;
    let the sea roar, and all that fills it;
12     let the field exult, and everything in it!
Then shall all the trees of the forest sing for joy
13     before the Lord, for he comes,
    for he comes to judge the earth.
He will judge the world in righteousness,
    and the peoples in his faithfulness.”  Psalm 96:11-13 - English Standard Version (ESV).   Let the world and everything in it rejoice in the name of Jesus (See Psalm 27:4), may we dwell in the house of the Lord forever.  God is our king; “9 making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his purpose, which he set forth in Christ 10 as a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth. Ephesians 1:9-10  ESV.  Through our Jesus we can approach God in prayer;  38 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.  Romans 8:38-39 ESV.  Jesus paid for our sin once and for all on that cross at Calvary; we are ransomed by His blood.

We can make our request known to God in the name of Jesus! Hallelujah!
