Dear
Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by
reading the book of Jonah Chapter 3; “Jonah
sent again to Nineveh, preaches there. (1-4) Nineveh
is spared upon the repentance of the inhabitants. (5-10)
” - Matthew Henry Concise
God calls on Jonah to go into Nineveh; (see Jonah 3:1-4)
throughout the city he carries
God’s Word saying that Nineveh shall be overthrown in 40 days. The people of Nineveh heard and believed God; they
repented and prayed (see
Jonah 3:5-10) then God relented and turned from his fierce
anger; “10
When God saw what they did, how they turned from their evil way, God relented
of the disaster that he had said he would do to them, and he did not do it.” Jonah 3:10 English Standard Versions
(ESV). What if God sent a prophet in
to your town saying, 40 days and you all die; (see Exodus 19:5) would you know what to do? God’s word tells us what to do; “14 if my people who are called by my
name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn
from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their
sin and heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14 ESV. Jesus said that
the men of Nineveh (see
Matthew
12:41) will rise up and
Judge us if we don’t repent and accept God’s love. No matter how many laws we change or how
much we deny God’s Word; (see Romans
1:18-31) if we continue in sin
we will die in sin. Because God’s Word
(see Psalm
19:9) is righteous and
true. When we are carrying the God’s Word
to those who are living in sin; (see Mark
16:15-16) that’s when we are doing
God’s will!
Do you want to trust God? If the answer is yes; today is the
day of your salvation! Don’t wait another minute to leave, change or
quit anything (see Revelation 3:20) Jesus is at knocking
at your door this minute. He wants you to come just as you
are! Do you hear Jesus calling you? Will you answer Him
today? Do you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your
life? If the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the

Dear
Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by
reading the book of Jonah Chapter 2; “The
prayer of Jonah. (1-9) He
is delivered from the fish. (10)” - Matthew Henry Concise
Jonah is in trouble he has disobeyed God; (see Jonah 2:1-9)
with his head wrapped in sea
weed and deep in the belly of a fish Jonah calls to God. God hears Jonah’s
penitent prayer and with marvelous mercy (see Jonah 2:10) the fish spits Jonah out on dry land; “10 And
the LORD spoke to the fish, and it vomited Jonah out upon the dry land.” Jonah 2:10 English Standard Versions
(ESV). When life puts you in a bad situation
(see Psalm 50:14) what you do may save your life; “14
Wait for the LORD; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the
LORD!” Psalm 27:14 ESV. We who wait on the
Lord and (see Luke
12:4) keep his way will outlast
the wicked. No matter what the
circumstance (see Romans
8:28) all things will work
in our favor if we keep our faith in Jesus.
Do you want to trust God? If the answer is yes; today is the
day of your salvation! Don’t wait another minute to leave, change or
quit anything (see Revelation
3:20) Jesus is at knocking at your door this minute. He wants you

Dear
Saints,
“( 2 Kings. 14:25 )
deliverance from out of the fish, rendered him a type of our blessed Lord,
who mentions it, so as to show the certain truth of the narrative. All that
was done was easy to the almighty power of the Author and Sustainer of life.
This book shows us, by the example of the Ninevites, how great are the Divine
forbearance and long-suffering towards sinners. It shows a most striking
contrast between the goodness and mercy of God, and the rebellion,
impatience, and peevishness of his servant; and it will be best understood by
those who are most acquainted with their own hearts.
Jonah, sent to Nineveh,
flees to Tarshish. (1-3) He
is stayed by a tempest. (4-7) His
discourse with the mariners. (8-12) He
is cast into the sea, and miraculously preserved. (13-17)” - Matthew Henry Concise
God is telling Jonah to go tell those
Ninnies; (see Jonah 1:1-3)
to repent from their
wickedness and turn to the great I Am; Jonah runs from his ministry. Jonah boards
a boat; God stirs the sea into a storm; the crew (see Jonah
1:4-7) is terrified and throws off cargo.
While all this is going on Jonah sleeps until the captain wakes
him (see Jonah
1:8-12) Jonah tells the crew “ "I am a Hebrew, and I fear the LORD,
the God of heaven, who made the sea. He tells them to throw him into the sea and
they do and the sea became calm; (see
Amos 6:8-14)
and many of the crew worship began to worship our God! However he doesn’t drown because God still has a job for Jonah (he
catches a big fish from the inside); “17 And the LORD appointed a great fish
to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and
three nights. ” Jonah 1:17 English Standard Versions
(ESV). Listen up Saints there is a
lesson here for us! Might not like the
people God put’s in our path (see
2 Peter
3:9) but it’s our job to
pray for God’s will to be done in their life and love them like Jesus does. “14
The friendship of the LORD is for those who fear him, and he makes known to
them his covenant. 15 My eyes are ever toward the LORD, for he will pluck my
feet out of the net.” Psalm 25:14-15 ESV. We have nothing
to fear and no reason to hate the sinners (see Luke
12:4) it’s the sin against
God and the fact that their life will end in their death still unforgiven. Don’t hide your light from sinners in fear
(see 2
Timothy 1:7 ) let your light shine
to make you fishers of men.
Do your hear Jesus knocking at the door of your heart?
Don’t wait another minute to leave, change or quit anything (see Revelation
3:20) Jesus is at knocking at your door this minute. He wants you
to come just as you are! Do you hear Jesus calling you?
Will you answer Him today? Do you want to find true happiness, peace and
purpose in your life? If the answer is yes to any of these questions
