Can Man Know God’s Ways?

The Best of the Feast

Mar 28, 2017 – Ecclesiastes 8

Can Man Know God’s Ways?

2 with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love,”  Ephesians 4:2

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Ecclesiastes Chapter 8.  Man, isn’t capable of knowing the mind of God (see Ecclesiastes 3:11).  We know this that it is well with the wise and he may know the love of God.  “17 then I saw all the work of God, that a man cannot find out the work that is done under the sun. For though a man labors to discover it, yet he will not find it; moreover, though a wise man attempts to know it, he will not be able to find it.“   Ecclesiastes 8:17  New King James Version (NKJV).   If you want to begin to understand God’s love for man look at how he sacrificed Jesus (See John 3:16) to pay for our trespasses while we were yet sinners.  There is nothing to be gained without love.  “1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing. “  1 Corinthians 13:1-3 NKJV.  Look at our savior Jesus and endeavor to imitate his love.  Search the scriptures for examples of love (See 1 Corinthians 13:4-8) and you may begin to understand God’s love for us. If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

Contrast of Wisdom and Folly

The Best of the Feast

Mar 27, 2017 – Ecclesiastes 7

Contrast of Wisdom and Folly

5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.  Psalm 23:5

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Ecclesiastes Chapter 7.  In God’s Word, we see the differences between wisdom and folly.  “29 Truly, this only I have found: That God made man upright, But they have sought out many schemes."“  Ecclesiastes 7:29  New King James Version (NKJV).   While we may be angry about what is going on around us we must not fall into sin.  So we must turn what angers us over to Jesus (See Ephesians 4:26) every day before we sleep.  By the same token, we should not worry about our lives but rather seek God with thanksgiving and prayer in the name of Jesus in every circumstance. “31 “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.“  Matthew 6:31-33 NKJV. Seek wisdom in God’s Word there you will find wisdom (See Romans 10:17) that will reinforce your faith. If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

Who Will You Choose to Follow?

The Best of the Feast

Mar 26, 2017 – Ecclesiastes 6

Who Will You Choose to Follow?

22 Shall we provoke the Lord to jealousy? Are we stronger than he?”  1 Corinthians 10:22

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Ecclesiastes Chapter 6.  When is, a man satisfied with his condition?  Can man live a long life without growing old? Is a man with many possessions more comfortable than a man who has few and yet is content?  “12 For who knows what is good for man in life, all the days of his vain life which he passes like a shadow? Who can tell a man what will happen after him under the sun“  Ecclesiastes 6:12  New King James Version (NKJV).   Is a person who possesses all he can see or survey better off (See Luke 9:25) than a man who knows only Jesus.  “43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, 45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.“  Matthew 5:43-45 NKJV.  A person who elects to choose man over God chooses a liar (see John 8:44), they will receive a liars reward. If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

Let Not Your Mouth Lead You!

The Best of the Feast

Mar 25, 2017 – Ecclesiastes 5

Let Not Your Mouth Lead You!

15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.”  Colossians 3:15

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Ecclesiastes Chapter 5.  When we call on God he knows our hearts, so avoid vain repetitions.  We must examine our hearts before we make a vow.  Whatever task our Lord has assigned to us will be counted as joy when we do it to the glory of God.  “19 As for every man to whom God has given riches and wealth, and given him power to eat of it, to receive his heritage and rejoice in his labor—this is the gift of God. 20 For he will not dwell unduly on the days of his life, because God keeps him busy with the joy of his heart. “   Ecclesiastes 5:19-20  New King James Version (NKJV).   We have no need to be anxious for anything (See Matthew 6:25) while we are following Jesus.  “10 Let those who love the LORD hate evil, for he guards the lives of his faithful ones and delivers them from the hand of the wicked.Psalm 97:10“ –  “4 For the word of the LORD is right and true; he is faithful in all he does. 5 The LORD loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of his unfailing love.” Psalm 33:4-5   NKJV.  We can be secure in our salvation!  Because when we accepted our Lord Jesus as our Savior, we have His Word (see Hebrews 13:5), that He will never leave nor forsake us. If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

What Do We Pursue?

The Best of the Feast

Mar 24, 2017 – Ecclesiastes 4

What Do We Pursue?

21 He who follows righteousness and mercy Finds life, righteousness and honor.”   Proverbs 21:21

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Ecclesiastes Chapter 4.  Evil men are going to hate and despise life.  No good comes from a man’s envy of his neighbor.   A selfish man cares for nobody but himself. A wise man will work hard blessing those he loves.  “15 I saw all the living who walk under the sun; They were with the second youth who stands in his place. 16 There was no end of all the people over whom he was made king; Yet those who come afterward will not rejoice in him. Surely this also is vanity and grasping for the wind.“   Ecclesiastes 4:15-16  New King James Version (NKJV).   If we strive to imitate Jesus we will love our neighbors pray for those who persecute the church (See Matthew 5:43-44).  “4 For the word of the Lord is right, And all His work is done in truth. 5 He loves righteousness and justice; The earth is full of the goodness of the Lord.“  –  Psalm 33:4-5  NKJV.  We are born again pursuing the love of God. We will love our neighbor. In doing so we are fulfilling God’s law (see Romans 13:10).   Continue to pursue the love of God and share salvation in Jesus name.  If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

How Do We Deal With Evil Men?

The Best of the Feast

Mar 23, 2017 – Ecclesiastes 3

How Do We Deal With Evil Men?

17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.”  James 1:17

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Ecclesiastes Chapter 3.  There is instability in the affairs of men.  God encompasses all things and is the stability men seek.  Seeking stability in worldly affairs is vain.  “26 For God gives wisdom and knowledge and joy to a man who is good in His sight; but to the sinner He gives the work of gathering and collecting, that he may give to him who is good before God. This also is vanity and grasping for the wind.“   Ecclesiastes 2:26  New King James Version (NKJV).  Fear of the Lord sheds light on the works of the worldly (See Proverbs 1:7).  “4 For the word of the Lord is right, And all His work is done in truth. 5 He loves righteousness and justice; The earth is full of the goodness of the Lord.“  –  Psalm 33:4-5  NKJV.  Our God is awesome and HIS love is unfathomable to un believers.  Jesus gives us instruction to treat in love with the foolish unbeliever (see Luke 6:35) in the way God deals with evil people.   keep reading God’s Word every day.  If you don’t understand how to deal with anyone ask God (see James 1:5), in Jesus name the Holy Spirit will bring the answer to your remembrance.  If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.
