The Bride Confesses Her Love

The Best of the Feast

Apr 2, 2017 – Song of Solomon  1

The Bride Confesses Her Love

“2 I will be glad and rejoice in You; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High.”  Psalm 9:2 New King James Version (NKJV).

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

Song of Solomon an overview;  “This book is a Divine allegory, which represents the love between Christ and his church of true believers, under figures taken from the relation and affection that subsist between a bridegroom and his espoused bride; an emblem often employed in Scripture, as describing the nearest, firmest, and most sure relation: see ( Psalm 45 ,Isaiah 54:5 Isaiah 54:6 , Jeremiah 2:2 , Jeremiah 3:1 ) ; also in Ezekiel, Hosea, and by our Lord himself, ( Matthew 9:15 , Matthew 25:1 ) : see also (Revelation 21:2 Revelation 21:9 , Ephesians 5:27 ) . There is no character in the church of Christ, and no situation in which the believer is placed, but what may be traced in this book, as humble inquirers will find, on comparing it with other Scriptures, by the assistance of God the Holy Spirit, in answer to their supplications. Much, however, of the language has been misunderstood by expositors and translators. The difference between the customs and manners of Europe, and those of the East, must especially be kept in view. The little acquaintance with eastern customs possessed by most of our early expositors and translators, has in many cases prevented a correct rendering. Also, the changes in our own language, during the last two or three centuries, affect the manner in which some expressions are viewed, and they must not be judged by modern notions. But the great outlines, rightly interpreted, fully accord with the affections and experience of the sincere Christian.”  – Matthew Henry Commentary on the Whole Bible (Concise)

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Song of Solomon Chapter 1.   This is the excellent “the Song of songs,” It describes the glory and excellent love of Jesus, between him and the Church.  “16 The Shulamite Behold, you are handsome, my beloved! Yes, pleasant! Also our bed is green. 17 The beams of our houses are cedar, And our rafters of fir.  Song of Solomon  1:16-17  NKJV. Today’s Feast is speaking of God’s love for those who choose to follow Jesus.  God has already showed perfect love for us when he sent, Christ (see John 15:13) to pay for our trespasses.  “10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. “  1 John 4:10 NKJV. The perfect love of God was proved when Jesus went to the cross paying the whole price for our transgressions.  If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

Is Jesus calling you?  Do you want to share his love?  Do you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the following link; http://admenu.com/calling.html.

Today’s Verse; ”[ Jesus a Third Time Predicts His Death and Resurrection ] Now Jesus, going up to Jerusalem, took the twelve disciples aside on the road and said to them, “Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priests and to the scribes; and they will condemn Him to death, and deliver Him to the Gentiles to mock and to scourge and to crucify. And the third day He will rise again.”  Matthew 20: 17-19 NKJV.

Why Should We Love Them?

The Best of the Feast
Apr 1, 2017 – Ecclesiastes 12Why Should We Love Them?

“7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”  2 Timothy 1:7  New King James Version (NKJV).

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Ecclesiastes Chapter12.  As we remember or recognize our sins we should repent and ask God’s forgiveness.  Having done that rebuke the evil one in the name of Jesus (see Romans 8:1) when he returns to condemn us for what God has forgiven. “13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man's all. 14 For God will bring every work into judgment, Including every secret thing, Whether good or evil. “  Ecclesiastes 12:13-14  NKJV.   Satan is the accuser he is not our judge, Jesus alone paid the price for our sin (see John 15:13).  That is because God showed perfect love for us when he sent, Christ to pay for our trespasses.  “34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. 35 By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” “  John 13:34-35 NKJV.  When we share the good news with that same love of God, they will know that Jesus sent us to share his love with them.  If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

Wisdom Conveys Faith In Jesus

The Best of the Feast

Mar 31, 2017 – Ecclesiastes 11Wisdom Conveys Faith In Jesus

“32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?”  Romans 8:32  New King James Version (NKJV).

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Ecclesiastes Chapter11.  The wealthy are reminded to be generously to those not so blessed (see Psalm 112:9).  The youth are cautioned to look past the fleeting temptations that come with youth to the lasting rewards that come with wisdom and faith (see 2 Corinthians 7:1).  “20 Do not curse the king, even in your thought; Do not curse the rich, even in your bedroom; For a bird of the air may carry your voice, And a bird in flight may tell the matter. “   Ecclesiastes 10:20 NKJV.   To the youthful remember the love and assurances of Jesus, living a life clean, undefiled in body and spirit, (see 2 Timothy 2:22resounding in holiness to eternal life.“ 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.  John 3:16 NKJV.  Wisdom will bring with it the understanding of God’ love. Whosoever has faith in Jesus will live in eternity, without pain or sorrow.  If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

Jesus is calling today?  Do you want life without pain?  Do you want to find true happiness, peace, and purpose in your life?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the following link; http://admenu.com/calling.html.

Today’s Verse; ”But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. Isaiah 53:5-6 NKJV.

It Really Is About Love!

The Best of the Feast

It Really Is About Love!
“Set a guard, O Lord, over my mouth; keep watch over the door of my lips!” Psalm 141:3

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Ecclesiastes Chapter10.  We are told to avoid even the appearance of evil (see James 1:26) for the sake of those who may be looking at us as Christ’s ambassadors.  If you expect people to respect you should be respectful to others (see Luke 6:31).  Be sober in all your thoughts and actions.  “20 Do not curse the king, even in your thought; Do not curse the rich, even in your bedroom; For a bird of the air may carry your voice, And a bird in flight may tell the matter.“   Ecclesiastes 10:20 New King James Version (NKJV).   Brothers and Sisters, caution those who are slothful, be encouraging to the timid, lend help to the weak, (see Acts 20:35) be patient with them all; “4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.“  1 Corinthians 13:4-7 NKJV.  By loving God and our neighbor as ourselves we will fulfil all the directives to the wise in Ecclesiastes as we walk in the love of Jesus. If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

Today’s Verse; ” He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. Isaiah 53:3-4 NKJV.

Wisdom Beats Folly!

The Best of the Feast

Mar 29, 2017 – Ecclesiastes 9

Wisdom Beats Folly!

18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation,2 Corinthians 5:18

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Ecclesiastes Chapter 9.  We search into the Word depending on the Holy Spirit (see Acts 2:17-18) for interpretation.  We know every person shall die; some to condemnation and we saints to our reward.  Keep that which is natural from (see Leviticus 18:22) becoming detestable, walking in wisdom.  “17 Words of the wise, spoken quietly, should be heard Rather than the shout of a ruler of fools 18 Wisdom is better than weapons of war; But one sinner destroys much good.” Ecclesiastes 9:17-18  New King James Version (NKJV).   God will pass by the fools and the wise men and only those wise enough to believe in Jesus will know where to seek him (See 1 Kings 19:11-13).  “2 And when the Sabbath had come, He began to teach in the synagogue. And many hearing Him were astonished, saying, “Where did this Man get these things? And what wisdom is this which is given to Him, that such mighty works are performed by His hands! 3 Is this not the carpenter, the Son of Mary, and brother of James, Joses, Judas, and Simon? And are not His sisters here with us?” So they were offended at Him.“  Mark 6:2-3 NKJV.  Look to Jesus and pray for guidance from the Holy Spirit.  Search the scriptures, work out your salvation (see Philippians 2:12) because the fear of the Lord is the begging of (See Psalm 111:10) wisdom. If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

Can Man Know God’s Ways?

The Best of the Feast

Mar 28, 2017 – Ecclesiastes 8

Can Man Know God’s Ways?

2 with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love,”  Ephesians 4:2

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Ecclesiastes Chapter 8.  Man, isn’t capable of knowing the mind of God (see Ecclesiastes 3:11).  We know this that it is well with the wise and he may know the love of God.  “17 then I saw all the work of God, that a man cannot find out the work that is done under the sun. For though a man labors to discover it, yet he will not find it; moreover, though a wise man attempts to know it, he will not be able to find it.“   Ecclesiastes 8:17  New King James Version (NKJV).   If you want to begin to understand God’s love for man look at how he sacrificed Jesus (See John 3:16) to pay for our trespasses while we were yet sinners.  There is nothing to be gained without love.  “1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing. “  1 Corinthians 13:1-3 NKJV.  Look at our savior Jesus and endeavor to imitate his love.  Search the scriptures for examples of love (See 1 Corinthians 13:4-8) and you may begin to understand God’s love for us. If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.
