Dear Saints,

Today as we prayerfully Feast in I Chronicles 7 8 & 9. I’ve been using the imbedded links to help me read the Feast. It is easier if you clink on the link and when the chapter is loaded there is another button that looks like a small speaker click on that and Bible Gateway will read the chapter to you. This is great when we are reading names that are hard to pronounce. "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.” - John 14:26. We all know that the reason for the Feast is to read every word in God’s Word. Lord willing I'll send and post the Feast Monday.

The Feast

Fri, Jan 08, 10, I Chronicles 7, Genealogies. We have an account of Levi in this chapter. The priests and Levites were more concerned than any other Israelites, to preserve their descent clear, and to be able to prove it; because all the honours and privileges of their office depended upon their descent. Now, the Spirit of God calls ministers to their work, without any limit as to the families they came from; and then, as now, though believers and ministers may be very useful to the church, none but our great High Priest can make atonement for sin, nor can any be accepted but through his atonement.” Henrys Concise

Sat, Jan 09, 10 I Chronicles 8, Genealogies. “– Here is a larger list of Benjamin's tribe. We may suppose that many things in these genealogies, which to us seem difficult, abrupt, and perplexed, were plain and easy at that time, and fully answered the intention for which they were published. Many great and mighty nations then were in being upon earth, and many illustrious men, whose names are now wholly forgotten; while the names of multitudes of the Israel of God are here kept in everlasting remembrance. The memory of the just is blessed.” Henrys Concise

Sun, Jan 10, 10 I Chronicles 9, Genealogies “- This chapter expresses that one end of recording all these genealogies was, to direct the Jews, when they returned out of captivity, with whom to unite, and where to reside. Here is an account of the good state into which the affairs of religion were put, on the return from Babylon. Every one knew his charge. Work is likely to be done well when every one knows the duty of his place, and makes a business of it. God is the God of order. Thus was the temple a figure of the heavenly one, where they rest not day nor night from praising God, ( Revelation 4:8 ) . Blessed be His name, believers there shall, not in turn, but all together, without interruption, praise him night and day: may the Lord make each of us fit for the inheritance of the saints in light.” Henrys Concise

Thu, Jan 07, 10 I Chronicles 6

Dear Saints,

Today as we prayerfully Feast in I Chronicles 6. I think of my wife and I having been married 42 Years as a long time. However when we look at eternity we realize it 42 years isn’t even notable. “For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable and the mortal with immortality. When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: "Death has been swallowed up in victory." "Where, O death is your victory? Where, O death is your sting.” 1 Corinthians 15:53-55 (New International Version) I really have trouble wrapping my brain around immortality. Lord willing I'll send and post the Feast tomorrow..

Wed 1 06_2010_I Chronicles 5

Dear Saints,

Today as we prayerfully Feast in I Chronicles 5. Thank you for your words of encouragement and prayers. Today sandy and I have been married for 42 Years. “and said, `For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will join to his wife; and the two will become one flesh?` So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, don`t let man tear apart Mt 19:5- 6. The longer we are married the more I understand God’s Grace in allowing Sandra and I to be together as one flesh. I wouldn’t change a thing as far as her and I becoming one flesh. I’m overjoyed that God in his divine wisdom made her the prettiest and smartest side of our one flesh. Lord willing I'll send and post the Feast tomorrow..

Dear Saints,

Today as we prayerfully Feast in  I Chronicles 4.  How can I live this day for Jesus?  Where do I start?  All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our sinful nature[a] and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature objects of wrath.  But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.,”- Ephesians 2:3-5 (New International Version).  So Christ paid the price for the debt, I earned as a sinner so maybe I should relax at the side of the pool.  On the other hand maybe I should share God’s Grace.  What should I wear to go out to share the Gospel of God?

“The Armor of God

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.  Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes.  For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.  Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.  Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.

Pray also for me, that whenever I open my mouth, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.” Ephesians 6:10-20 (New International Version) Lord willing I'll send and post the Feast tomorrow..

Mon Jan 4 - I Chronicles 3

Dear Saints,

Today as we prayerfully Feast in I Chronicles 3. I pray that all of our Saints had a great weekend, that your ready to carry your faith forward in the year of our Lord 2010. Our sins are washed away, by the blood of the lamb. A reminder as we go into the new year carrying our faith forward; “(Righteousness Through Faith) 21But now a righteousness from God, apart from law, has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. 22This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, 23for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,”- Romans 3:21-23 (New International Version). Carrying our faith forward that comes by; “Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ.” Romans 10:17 Lord willing I'll send and post the Feast tomorrow..

Jan_2&3 1 Chronicles 1 & 2

Dear Saints,

You and I prayerfully continue our Feast this weekend in, 1 Chronicles 1 & 2. Never mistake a blessing as coincidence or happenstance. “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord, Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ; even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and without blemish before him in love” Ephesians 1:3 - 4;

Please take a look at the new admenu.com and the new logo’s, I intend to try and make admenu.com an easy read. Your input is important so, let me know what you think. The Rest of the Feast News, or See Mary's Corner.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!”- 2 Corinthians 5:17

Overview I Chronicles

The books of Chronicles are, in a great measure, repetitions of what is in the books of Samuel and of the Kings, yet there are some excellent useful things in them which we find not elsewhere. The FIRST BOOK traces the rise of the Jewish people from Adam, and afterward gives an account of the reign of David. In the SECOND BOOK the narrative is continued, and relates the progress and end of the kingdom of Judah; also it notices the return of the Jews from the Babylonish captivity. Jerome says, that whoever supposes himself to have knowledge of the Scriptures without being acquainted with the books of Chronicles, deceives himself. Historical facts passed over elsewhere, names, and the connexion of passages are to be found here, and many questions concerning the gospel are explained.” - Henry’s Concise
